  I took a shotgun in here, they told me it was knackered, and offered to scrap it for me "free of charge". I was a bit miffed to say the least, as I had bought the gun from them 5 years earlier, and looked after it. I kept it clean and dry, oiled where it should be, and kept the woodwork free from oil. I'd only put 2 boxes of cartridges through it. It took the same gun into a gunshop in Standish ( really know their stuff). They gave the gun a thorough examination, including checking the bores with a gauge, and then bought it for £250. Now, I don't know what was going on at Bond and Bywaters, you'll have to make your own mind up, but I certainly won't be going in there again.
