  Slow slow slow slow slow.....so not the best experience, about 4 people waiting, so not the longest queue in the world. Took 15 minutes to get a coffee, no apology for the wait..... i asked for a very simple Americano with soya milk, which bizarrely came in two separate cups so I had to do my own mixing. Young staff who don't really care I am afraid, but coffee when mixed was good. Funny thing was, my wife went in on a Sunday and again she mentioned very little staff and took 20 minutes for her takeaway coffee.

  They serve a nice tea, some of the best from a coffee shop, though I was mildly disheartened to discover they had run out of Earl Gray when I visited. Their festive gingerbread latte is passable. I requested a "short" gingerbread latte, which was definitely on the short side and for £3.15 I expected a bit more for the money I parted with. Combined with the bare hint of ginger I was a touch disappointed in it. Writing customer names on cups is a novel idea, though apparently someone there can't hear me pronounce the "x" in my name, so I magically became Alice. It's not a bad shop, and it could be much worse, but the staff don't seem all that thrilled to be working there. (I can relate, as I also work in a similar environment and role.)
